New Starbase Beer — Starhopped Hazy IPA
Starbase Brewing is thrilled to reveal Starhopped, a Hazy IPA inspired by reusable spaceflight efforts underway in the state of Texas.
Starhopped is now available in select H-E-B, Central Market, Whole Foods, Total Wine, and Spec's locations. It is also available in many independent locations. Use our Store Finder to find it near you, or purchase a 6-pack directly from our website.
We brewed the Starhopped IPA with three different hops: Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado. It pours a golden orange and boasts an aroma of tangy tropical fruits.
This beer is a juicy explosion of pineapple, peach, and blueberry. It packs all of the punches of a traditional IPA, but with very little bitterness.
Inspiration: Hydroponic systems make it easy to grow plants in water without using any soil. On Mars, the dirt is not suitable for growing crops so these systems will be required in order to produce enough food for any Mars colony to survive. Eventually, we'll grow hops using hydroponics so we can brew beer on the Red Planet too!
