Starbase Brewing Awarded Silver Medal for R.U.D.

We are pleased to share that Starbase Brewing has been awarded a Silver Medal for our beer R.U.D.—Refreshing Unfiltered Decoction—in the “Belgian & Farmhouse Ales” category at the Texas Craft Brewers Cup 2024. From our home in Austin, we strive to create beers that reflect our dedication to quality and creativity, and we’re grateful for this recognition from the Texas craft beer community.

Hosted annually by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, the Texas Craft Brewers Cup is a distinguished competition where a panel of certified judges evaluates submissions from breweries statewide. In 2024, our R.U.D. earned Silver in the “Belgian & Farmhouse” category, celebrated for its refreshing, unfiltered profile and the nuanced flavors achieved through decoction brewing. We’re honored by this achievement and the opportunity to stand among Texas’ talented brewers.

The Texas Craft Brewers Cup 2024 concluded with an awards ceremony, uniting brewers, industry professionals, and beer lovers to celebrate the state’s vibrant craft beer culture.
